Young Basketball Talent to Hit the Courts at 2020 Molten CBSQ Open

The 46th annual CBSQ Open is tipping off tomorrow, with 124 teams from across the State set to compete across seven divisions.  
Upcoming talent from across the state will head to Logan Metro Indoor Sports Centre, Cornubia Park Sports Centre, and Auchenflower Stadium to battle it out for the Champion Basketball School of Queensland title.

Games will commence at 8am each day from Thursday 17th September to Sunday 20th September. Spectators can either book their tickets online, or alternatively watch the action via the Courier Mail livestreams.

The Courier Mail will broadcast every second of the action from Court 2 at Logan Metro over on their livestream. Catch all round robin games and finals from 8am to 6pm each day, including the grand finals on Sunday 20th of September. 2019 Champions Take the Stage
Last year’s reigning champions from the Girls and Boys Division 1 will be back in action over at Logan tomorrow. Up first is Hillcrest Christian College, the 2019 Girls winners, who will take on Mackay St Patrick’s College tomorrow morning at 8am.

QSL fans will be delighted to see another opportunity to catch Logan Thunder’s Danielle Bayes on the court, this time playing for Sheldon College. Hillcrest and Sheldon are set to go head-to-head at 12:30pm, in what is sure to an exciting match-up.

From the Boys Division, 2019 winners Ignatius Park College won’t take the stage until 8pm, in their match with Mardsen State Highschool. Before then, plenty of players will be showcasing their talent, including St James College who held the CBSQ Champion title in both 2017 and 2018. Taking them on first at 12:30pm will be none other than the young and talented St Joseph’s Nudgee College.
