Your 2023 Association of the Year is Brisbane Basketball. After the devastating flood in 2022, Brisbane Basketball was able to return to operations within two weeks due to the efforts of staff, volunteers, and the wider community. Brisbane has successfully built strong relationships with local government, securing federal and state government funding to redevelop the historic Auchenflower Stadium. As one of the longest standing associations in Queensland, Brisbane Basketball continues to find new ways to innovate and grow the game in their region, making them a worthy recipient of the 2023 Association of the Year Award.
