He served as an independent selector for U12, U14, U16, and U18 representative trials while leading multiple teams. His highlights include claiming a three-peat title in the QSL1 Men's competition and winning back-to-back championships. Steve has successfully coached at various levels, from junior clubs to NBL1, positively impacting ten teams in the past year. A respected figure among his peers, Steve’s dedication to developing junior coaches ensures his legacy in the sport, making him a worthy recipient of the 2024 Male Coach of the Year award.
