Eithen Leard

Your 2024 Wheelchair Athlete of the Year is Eithen Leard. Over the past 12 months, Eithen has made an outstanding impact in wheelchair basketball. As captain of the inaugural Spartans NWBL team, he earned MVP honours and became the youngest player named to the all-star five, also winning the Best-in-Class award for his category. At just 18, Eithen made his Paralympic debut with the Rollers, the Australian Men's Team, following a successful campaign in Paris. Known for his leadership on and off the court, his dedication and advocacy make him a worthy recipient of the 2024 Wheelchair Athlete of the Year award.
