Sam White

Your 2023 Wheelchair Athlete of the Year is Sam White. Sam has had a decorated 12 months on court, including claiming Gold at the 2023 National Wheelchair Tournament Championships. He has represented the Australian Rollers for three tours of Europe, as well as the IWBF World Championships, where the team earned a spot to compete in the 2024 Paris play-in tournament. Sam is one of the inaugural BQ National Performance Program scholarship holders and captained the Queensland team that claimed Gold at the National Institute Network tournament in both 5-on-5 and 3-on-3 formats, making him a worthy recipient of the 2023 Wheelchair Athlete of the Year.
