The below statement is in response to the Instant Review System (IRS) process used at the conclusion of the game on Saturday 6th of July between Logan Thunder and South West Metro Pirates Men. 

During the review, the officials identified that the time displayed in the stadium as the shot was being released was incorrect. Using the IRS, the officials were able to determine that the shot would not have been released in the allotted time. 

The NBL1 North rules state that the decision of an official following an IRS process is final. 

Basketball Queensland have reviewed the process and support the actions taken and decisions made by the officials.
